Breeders Directory – $5
The Tasmanian Rare Breeds Poultry Club breeders directory is now available, for anyone looking for Tasmanian breeders of poultry. Hardcopies of this comprehensive list of who breeds what can be purchased for $5 a piece.
The breeders directory is always being updated as new members join the club, so if you are interested in being included in the directory please e-mail the secretary, Jill Weaver, at firstname.lastname@example.org with a list of what you breed and your preferred contact details. Please include all breeds you keep, not just rare breeds, and things such as pheasants, turkey’s, guinea fowl etc are welcome. Note that a current membership of the club is required for inclusion in the directory.
Keeping Happy Poultry – $10
An a4 book produced by our club secretary, Keeping Happy Poultry is a comprehensive guide for new and old poultry keepers alike. It has something for everyone including information on breeds, identifying diseases, what to feed, herbs and old fashioned remedies and much, much more.
